Children for Peace RUN, supported by St. John’s Institute, took place on 17th of April 2016. More than 100 people had a chance to run/walk 5K or 1K. Moms with strollers and kids of all ages were welcomed to participate in the RUN. Additionally, all attendants had a chance to buy Ukrainian products from 6 vendors while the children enjoyed the Egg Hunt and Egg Quest.
The winners of the 5K run were Roman Chornohub, Bohdan Marfei and Dmytro Petrushchak. The first three winners of the 1K run were Daria Krylova, Vladislav Pikul and Nicole Petrushchak.
The first place winners of the run were congratulated by the Ambassador of Ukraine in Canada Andriy Shevchenko as well as the President of Ukrainian Canadian Congress Paul Grod.
