The 2017 Holodomor Education Conference “Education – Awareness – Action” was held on May 5-7, 2017, at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The conference engaged educators interested in issues of human rights, social justice, democracy and the genocides of the 20th Century in the issues, methodologies, resources, and technologies of how to integrate the Holodomor into their teaching. The Conference was represented by 27 presenters and 90 participants – educators from across Canada and the USA.
