Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre kicked off the Celebration of Seniors’ Month with a community BBQ. June 14 was a rainy but sun shone day at the Care Centre! In spite of the rain, over 380 people showed up and had a wonderful afternoon of musical entertainment, games, prizes and great food. With bright and colorful décor, entertainers in costumes, face painter, strolling musicians and people spontaneously raising to dance and sing, the Care Centre shined with smiles, fun, colorful painted faces and joy! It was the brightest and best place to be on a rainy Sunday afternoon for young and old. The event was proudly sponsored by Cardinal Funeral Homes Ltd.
