The Ukrainian National Federation, Sudbury Branch held it's 40th Annual Yarmarok “Marketplace” on October 17 and 18, 2015, at the UNF Hall located at 130 Frood Road, Sudbury, Ontario.

On Thursday, October 15, 2015, at the Greater Sudbury City Hall, Mayor Brian Bigger, proclaimed Ukrainian Heritage Week from October 15 to October 22, 2015, and encouraged all citizens of Greater Sudbury to partake in the activities and celebrations of the UNF 40th Yarmarok Festival. The Ukrainian Flag was raised at the Sudbury City Hall and will remain on the mast until the end of Ukrainian Heritage Week.

The UNF 40th Yarmarok Festival was kicked off with a lovely Gala Dinner/Dance at the UNF Hall. The Gala Dinner/Dance was attended by many members of the community including Mayor Brian Bigger and City Council Members. The entertainment for the evening was provided by the Ukrainian Music Band “Zabava.”

The Yarmarok Festival was well attended and once again a successful event.
